Took my car in on a Monday to have oil change and check AC. On Wednesday I had not heard. Seems consultant was fired and my car hadn't been assigned to anyone else. Then on Thursday I was told that AC coil needed replacing at cost of $2500. Finnegans had replaced coil in Oct at cost of $2100. Claimed was a 2nd coil. I picked my car up on Thursday afternoon but had to wait an hour while oil was finally changed.

Advisor I had was exceptional. I arrived at 7:15 for my 7:30 appointment. Oil change, 15,000 mile service and recall I was notified of. The appointment was supposed to take 2 hours or less. I was finally able to pay and leave at 10:30. The reason I started to use Finnegan's was the fact that it is not an overly crowded location such as Beck and Masten. There were only three people waiting for their vehicles. I was the first one in the waiting area and the last one to leave. The one star is for the great advisor, if not for him it would be none!

2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Appointment was at 10:00 and the service advisor told me at 11:40 he was going to lunch at 12:00 and would have my truck back before he went to lunch. I was seated with my back to the service driveway so I didn't see when my truck was parked. Finally at 12:25 I went to the service advisors office and sure enough my advisor was at lunch. Another advisor looked for my ticket and sure enough my truck was done, and had been done for who knows how long. The advisor that gave my keys back made sure to tell me to give them 10's on all the reviews. Will not get my truck serviced here again.

I gave 5 stars at the beginning as of April 26th in Google, and kept it like that until today, unfortunately, during the purchase process the dealer lost my second key, and was communicating with Eddie to solve the issue, nothing was done or received a follow up, so I told Eddie I was going to go in person to try to solve the issue, went in person, the guy didn't have the decency to tell me was going on vacation nor informed anyone about it, so I had to start from scratch. So I was told yesterday to come back today, I come back today and guess what the guy that placed the order for key fob "Forgot" to call me and tell me that key will arrive next week Tuesday, so not only on a brand new car you guys lose my second key, the follow up is atrocious and obviously I've been wasting my time and money on this for almost a month. Eddie is a good sales person don't get me wrong, but unfortunately, the after sale experience has not been pleasant

Even though I scheduled an appointment on Friday, my vehicle wasn’t looked at until late Monday or possibly Tuesday. I was also told I’d receive a call on Friday between 1–5 PM, but that never happened. Additionally, there was a recall on the vehicle, and once again, the part wasn’t in stock—so now I have to bring it back in. That’s a major inconvenience. On top of that, the quoted cost to replace the radio is extremely high, especially compared to the cost of an OEM unit. And while the car was washed, the driver’s side wasn’t vacuumed, which seems inconsistent and disappointing. Overall, I’m not happy with the service this time around.

I dropped off my vehicle at 9am and was promised my vehicle would be ready by noon. I had to call at 1pm to learn that my vehicle was not ready. Bad communication! My vehicle was not ready till 4pm!! A loaner car would have been nice. You need better communication. I was told that the delay was because the person first working on my vehicle was Not comfortable finishing the job so they had to get a different person to finish it. THIS IS NOT A GOOD FEELING.! I paid online GMA.com for a service I expected better.

It was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. I have always used Classic Chevrolet for everything and never had my car held hostage for 45 days. I changed only because my sales person at Classic for many years is no longer available. (Currently we have 2 Cruises, 1 Equinox, 1 Silverado, 1 Malibu - that replaced a previous Malibu, and now my Blazer. I came to Finnegan only because of Bubba Alvarez and walked in preapproved. He and the finance gentlemen were wonderful Highly recommend Bubba for any of your sales needs. I would only purchase from Finnegan Again because of them however , will never use service again. They charged us for something that should have been included. Asked if we would get a refund and was told know. I have a free coupon for our next service AND we have to come pick it up. Worth the drive to Sugar Land. Never again.

I was originally told my car would be repaired in 3 days which turned into 16 days. Also I was told if you need a loaner vehicle, you would have to rent a car and wait for Chevrolet to reimburse you. I had to call to get updates on the status of my vehicle. Then I was given a price for my car to be repaired and had to remind them that my car is still under warranty. Now I understand why this dealership is not listed on myChevrolet app, the service is horrible.

We were told we had to purchase the Texas protection plan but when we picked up the truck we did not receive all the included items. The windows were not tinted. We have no idea about the LoJack system. The salesman told us we would receive an email on how to login. We have yet to receive such an email. We have contacted the salesman with no response. :( Not happy with that service or lack thereof!!

The service rep, Niles, was knowledgeable and friendly, the recalls were finished in a timely manner and having the Uber rides were helpful. The only negative was the link provided to track the vehicle through service was useless. My appointment was on a Tuesday morning, but I dropped off the car on Monday afternoon. From Tuesday mid day until I picked up the car on Wednesday the link told me the car was being inspected. I finally called on Wednesday afternoon, because I believe the car should’ve been finished, and in fact, it was ready to be picked up. This didn’t cause me any problems, but it is something your dealership should fix. The funny thing was on Thursday I got an email saying I had missed my Tuesday appointment. I assume that is also due to the faulty link to keep track of the car.

I was happy with the Service I received; you trusted that employees do an awesome job and make sure what’s taken off your vehicle is put back. I had my tire’s rotated and sad to say , I had a flat tire…. Only to find that one of Lugs was not the original Lug that came on the vehicle. What was in place was a Lug similar not same as the rest of the Lugs. So it leaves me to wonder if you’re not going to put original back on the person vehicle. I how can, I trust you to actually do the work; you Say , that will be done on the vehicle and the price wasn’t cheap $$$ I had service done at dealer ship; which could easily get the right Lug not a Lug that seems to be similar like the rest and AAA had a time removing the imposter. Where is the integrity? I paid for a service ; I surely hope that work that customers pay for is 💯? Otherwise why bring your Car back to the dealer ship… P.S Now I have to purchase a Lug nut as well as a new Tire.

The experience I had this weekend was very disturbing. I almost lost my rear tire do to a QC error. I was the second car in que for an oil change on that Friday morning. My truck sat for 50 minutes before it ever entered the bay. Two hours in Iasked what was going on and when checked said it would be done shortly, and that they were just being thourough.Well, the history with this service department has been this way for years. I have tried to be patient, polite and caring but enough is enough. I even gave decent review with the hopes of helping out those that were obviously trying, but get penalized when they get a bad review. Anyway, Three days later I am 175 miles from home and I get a low engine oil notice, to check my oil level. So on the side of the road in 103 degree weather I check at a service station and find no oil on my dip stick. I buy two quarts and it takes both quarts to fill my vehicle. There were no leaks, and a week later the level is still full. THEY SIMPLY DID NOT PUT ENOUGH OIL IN THE VEHICLE. So yes I am done. The dealership offered to provide my next oil change free, and i asked if that could be used at another dealorship and i was told no. I am honeslty over dealing with this location, my friends have told for years not to go there.But they are in my community and I tried to give them the opportunity. But I am done.

This has been a long (multi-month) journey to get the recall service performed on my '21 GMC Sierra AT4 with the L87 6.2L engine. Fortunately, my purchasing dealership, Finnegan, was able to accommodate me this past week. The good news is the motor passed inspection, so after an oil change to a heavier 0-40W oil and new filler cap I was on my way. The only blemish here was I asked to confirm that they'd rotated my KO3s as they typically do with an oil change service and they had not. They claimed this L87 remedy service wasn't a true 'full service' oil change, but they would be happy to do it for a $30 charge. Well, shame on me for assuming they were going to provide me with the same service they always do when I have the dealership change the oil. But maybe it'd be better if they were more clear about this at intake. Otherwise, it went as well as could be expected under the cloud of a major (and potentially serious) recall. The dealership and service representative were just as cordial as I've come to expect.

On Oct 15 I provided $500 in good faith payment via my Visa credit card. I was assured that this would be returned with the completion of the transaction. The sale was completed on Oct 23. I have been reassured by the two sales reps and the Finance Mgr. that I will receive a credit on my account. On Saturday Oct 25 I was assured that the credit would be issued this morning Oct 27. My account does not show any credit from Finnigen. I need help. Oil change was expensive to begin with even after applying coupons. I asked the rep I need to do 8 qt full synthetic oil change and tire rotation which was for 137$ on Finnegan website. During check out, I asked if tire rotation was done he said no. Then he offered that he can get it done but that will cost an extra 40$. Not only this, but the truck came back with 33 psi tire pressure. Chevy recommends at least 41 psi tire pressure. Disappointed with the service. Sorry not coming back Finnegan.

You charge a miscellaneous fee (17%) for shop expenses, labor, and parts on top of the already high prices you charge for working on a vehicle that had 2 charges. One for the diagnostic fee and one for the part. WOW!!

So I took my vehicle there for an Oil change and had an appointment for 9:30am and it took the shop 2 hours for an oil change. That's an excessive wait time for a basic oil change in my opinion. I would understand if additional work was added. I didn't leave the dealership unit 11:30am. Not satisfied with the wait time.

Truck was in to get a fuel filter and air filter. First appointment of the day. It took 3 hours! At the 2 hour mark I got an update that the fuel filter wouldn’t come off and the mount would need to be replaced at my cost. I asked the service manager why that wouldn’t be covered by warranty? When he checked it was covered. When arrived I asked about the “service specials”, specifically if the November specials were continued into December. He said that there aren’t any specials for diesel trucks. So during my 3 hour wait I checked the dealership website on phone and saw that both filters have an active service special. I would think that the service managers would know what the special offers are.

Overall experience was really good. Check in was quick and easy and getting an Uber lift home was easy. Was notified from service advisor that vehicle was ready and cleaned. Paid and picked up vehicle with no hassle. Only thing I might think about is the cost of just getting an oil change. To my surprise, an oil change had jumped almost $40 from my previous visit. I'll check around and might just have to use somebody else.

I did not have my vehicle serviced on 01/12/2026. That is the day my car was finally released to me. I left my car at Finnegan on 12/29/2026 to be seen by set appointment on 12/30/2026. I was told when I called to make the appointment my car would be completed within 3 to 7 days. That didn't happen. I was supposed to be in communication with Mr. Niles and I do not feel that is what happened. The communication and the time it took for my vehicle to be completed and released to me was ridiculous. I feel like the communication was barley there with the representative. The representative told me about a loaner car and then never once brought it up again or said anything to me about it even after I asked. I was told the following week 01/05/2026 that the warranty approved the repair and that now the part needed to be requested, but shouldn't take a long time because it was an 'easy fix'. I even found out that Monday how much I would be paying and assumed since I already knew what I was paying the vehicle would be finished soon. I was very wrong, and Thursday I finally get a text that says the part was in and it should be done that day. I called and it went to voice mail and I left a message because by now I have text and reached out for information but was not getting return text or calls. Friday the 9th I was told that the Niles was going to see if the tech could do the job that day because it was an easy fix. I never heard anything. Saturday I called at 8:29am and spoke to Mr. Niles and asked about my car. He said let me talk to the tech. He was on the phone while speaking to the tech the tech said the car would be done by 10. I said ok I will be there to get it this morning. Then I get a text at 9:45 saying the vehicle is ready just need to get payment from warranty. I texted a very upset text because by now I have found a ride the hour and 15 minute drive to get my car and now I can not go to get it. He texted back hour and a half later with they have to get money or he has to pay out of pocket and not once texted or called to let me know anything after that. So my car was ready Saturday morning but because of bad communication with warranty and representative I had to wait until the following Monday 01/12/2026 to get my car. I'm still angry about this! I felt I was penalized because, if he knew Friday My car would be done by Friday or Saturday morning why wasn't the a warranty company contacted to get the ball rolling? Instead my car was stuck parked at the dealership ready to go but it was hostage from the person paying for it. After I spoke frankly to Mr. Niles Monday 01/12/2026 about how I felt about our communication and the length of time it took to fix the car I started receiving more messages. I even asked if I needed to contact the warranty because it seemed he wasn't doing it. After our conversation I received a text from Niles about 3 to 4 minutes after we got off the phone that my vehicle warranty paid and that I could finally come get my car. I then found a ride once again and I picked my car up 14 days after I dropped it off. I did not have good experience with the representative or the time it took to fix my car. Then to add to my already angry self the car wasn't even washed as I was told it would be. Then after I left and stopped for gas in El Campo i turned the vehicle off to get gas the turned it back on after, it shook twice and felt as if it was going to die. It has never once done that to me in the past. It did not die just shook like it was. Also, when I come to a stop and the auto stop turns on it makes a weird sound. It is working and running but those 2 things are now a concern of mine. They were not a concern of mine before I dropped it off on the 29th. I do not understand how it takes so long for something that should have been an easy fix. I finally have my car back and can go to work on my own. This is my 2nd experience like this at a certified dealer. Just not happy....

I came in for a simple tire rotation, oil change, and detail wash, nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, the entire process took nearly five hours, even though the shop wasn’t busy at all. That kind of delay for basic services, especially with few customers around, is really disappointing. Time management definitely needs improvement.

Everyone was very kind throughout the entire experience - my waiting time expectations were set properly and accurately. My only issue is after bringing my car in for an oil change + tire rotation, none of my tire pressure sensors are reading. I did turn around and bring it back to the shop to get this fixed where I was told because one of my sensors needs to be replaced, they can’t fix the rest of the sensors not reading properly. I’d like to note, I was a regular to Knapp Chevrolet for service when I lived in EaDo, where they replaced 3 of my 4 sensors, and the rest of my tires always read perfectly after replacing. The runner (I did not catch his name) did try to reset my sensors by holding menu and using the machine to tap my tires but this did not fix the problem - just an inconvenience to drive until I can fix a sensor now, apparently, which is news to me as mentioned anove
