I had been waiting for weeks to have a check engine light issue serviced on my NEW truck. Less than 3000 miles. I had been waiting for a loaner car, I am in sales and giving up a vehicle for a day or more is very difficult. Apparently that was never going to happen so I did give up and take it in. They did offer me Uber to get home, but I had to do with out a car for 24 hours. This appears to be a GM issue, in that I was told no inventory means no loaners. Well, if you can sell them, you need to provide fair service. With todays pricing a loaner for a day for something caused by the vehicle and not the owner is not too much to ask from the consumer standpoint. Prices keep going up, and yet service lags behind. I do not feel this is a dealer issue but a manufacture issue. I was a bit disappointed in that a radio update still needs done, and while they had it over 24 hour that did not happen. Apparently there was a internet issue going on at the dealership, which again may have been out of their control. I guess I will get that done when I come for the first oil change, but there goes another couple of hours to do this.
