Coming back from a decade long slumber, the brand-new HUMMER EV Supertruck has enchanted both electric vehicle enthusiasts and hardcore off-roaders. The forthcoming HUMMER EV SUV will add to that frenzy with a new, contemporary interpretation of the iconic off-roader from the past. While all of the info has not been officially released yet, this is what we think the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will be like.
HUMMER EV SUV Performance Highlights
It looks like the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will be mechanically identical to the Supertruck. It is expected to be configured in either 2 or 3 motor setups with power ranging anywhere from 625hp all the way up to 1000hp. The range of the HUMMER SUV should be similar to the Supertruck which is around 250 miles (on a full charge). The available fast-charging system will likely also be available for purchase, which will allow it to get 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging.
HUMMER EV SUV Design Highlights
Visually, it appears that the HUMMER EV SUV will share many of the same options, but with a covered hardtop rather than a pickup bed. We think that you will be able to find most of the same features like 35in tires, LED lighting, and also the Infinity roof shown on the Supertruck. Knowing the needs of today's buyers, we think that a 3-row version may also be part of the future of the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV.
HUMMER EV SUV Technology Highlights
We expect that the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will have most of the same impressive technology available on the Supertruck. You will probably be able to find a similar version of the new Ultravision camera system, paired with Drive Mode Control, Watts to Freedom, Super Cruise, and the 13.4-inch touchscreen stereo.
